Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver I acknowledge and understand that participating in a running/walking race is a potentially hazardous activity. I acknowledge that I should not enter this event and run/walk unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, all such risks being known and understood by me. I hereby acknowledge and understand that Forrest Goetsch Charities assumes no responsibility or liability with regard to my participation in this event. Having read this waiver in full and acknowledging my understanding of its intent and purpose and in consideration of exercising my option to participate in this event, I, on behalf of myself and on behalf of any participant for which I have legal responsibility, do hereby release and discharge Forrest Goetsch Charities, and all sponsors, representatives (including event volunteers), agents and employees of any of them, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, including any claim or liability for damages, even if the damages or injuries are alleged to have arisen in full or in part by or due to the negligence of Forrest Goetsch Charities, its representatives, agents, volunteers, sponsors or employees thereof.
